Weekly Gas Report: The Cheapest Gas Prices in Flagler & Volusia Counties

Gas prices are by-and-large down in Florida, according to new data from AAA spokesperson Mark Jenkins. As of Monday, the average cost of a gallon of gas has decreased by 25 cents over the last 17 days, bringing it to the cheapest state average since February.

“Floridians and summer visitors will be pleasantly surprised when they go to fill up the gas tank this week,” Jenkins said. “Gas prices are the lowest in several months because of weakness in the oil and gasoline futures markets.”

Below are the cheapest gas in each city in Volusia and Flagler counties, according to GasBuddy as of Tuesday afternoon. Prices are user-reported and thus may change after being listed here, and may be cash-only offers. Member-only stations such as Costco and Sam’s Club are excluded from this list.

It’s just mind boggling as to the difference in prices within the same county. I guess the only explanation with the $.20 difference per gallon within the same county is greed from the gas station owners. I’m glad I have the ability because of my business to get gas when I’m in an area where the gas is cheapest no matter if I need half a tank, 3/4 of a tank or a full tank.
