Palm Coast-based small business Fun Coast Bartending is approaching a major milestone: 2,500 events served since their foundation. The company is 13 years into their journey serving in and around Flagler and Volusia counties, with countless memories that have come from it.

The 2,500th event served by Fun Coast Bartending will be the Flagler Cares 10th Anniversary Gala, this Saturday, June 14th at the Palm Coast Community Center. Community members who’ve been to any number of gatherings with bartending services have likely met founder Mark Woods and his dedicated staff at least a few times over the years. “I’ve been lucky enough to be able to recruit a quality team to represent me at events in the region,” Woods said.

“From the very beginning, we’ve believed that bartending is about more than mixing drinks—it’s about creating experiences,” he continued. “This milestone is a celebration of the people, stories, and causes we’ve been lucky to support over the years.” In a release detailing their milestone, Fun Coast Bartending highlights fully licensed and insured bartenders who bring ‘professionalism, personality, and heart to every pour’.

Along with Fun Coast Bartending, Woods has also worked for the Golden Lion in Flagler Beach plus Henry’s Harborside Lounge in Palm Coast. It was in the latter location that he acquired his locally-famous nickname ‘TikiTender’. From 2013 to 2022 he co-owned The Humidor Club & Lounge in Palm Coast’s European Village alongside the late Kayhan ‘Ky’ Ekinci.

As they reflect on their first 2,500 events in operation and look forward to the future, Woods and his crew are pausing for gratitude to those who’ve worked with them and patronized them over the years. As with any local business, those who’ve embraced Fun Coast Bartending have helped one of their neighbors live out a dream.

Now, Woods is hoping those who’ve crossed paths with Fun Coast will get in touch to share any positive experiences they’ve had over those 13 years. “If you’ve worked with us in the past and had a moment that made you smile, we’d love to hear from you,” Woods said. “Your words might even be featured as we celebrate this exciting milestone.”

Those who wish to take Woods up on his offer to share personal experiences working with Fun Coast Bartending can reach out by emailing him at mark@funcoastbartending.com. More information about Fun Coast Bartending is also available at their official website or by calling (386) 597-0049.
