Flagler Cares, one of the area’s foremost public service local nonprofit organizations, is holding its quarterly ‘Help Night’ later this month, the group announced this week. The event will take place Wednesday, October 29th in Palm Coast.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to connect with a multitude of local resources and life-saving services across a variety of areas. Flagler Cares has partnerships with several other groups which work with residents’ concerns about mental health, domestic abuse, child care, legal resources, medical needs, and more.
Attendance to Help Night is free of cost. It will be held at the Flagler County Village Community Room, located at 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Suite B304, Palm Coast, FL 32164. The event begins at 3:00 pm and concludes at 7:00 pm.
“Help Night brings together caring partners who want to make it easier for our neighbors to access the services they need,” said Flagler Cares Community Engagement and Care Manager Cheryl Tristam. “It’s a great example of what can happen when local organizations work together to strengthen our community.”
Along with several tables with representatives from the participating organizations, Help Night will have a rummage sale to benefit youth prevention programs. Flagler Cares says the items in the sale will be ‘gently loved’.
