PALM COAST – A Palm Coast man was arrested last week on heinous accusations: that he’d exposed himself to and inappropriately touched a juvenile younger than 12. Michael W. Jennelle is charged with Sexual Battery and Lewd/Lascivious Molestation, both modified for a victim under 12.
It’s not the first time Jennelle has been stuck with such charges – he was also indicted in Virginia for indecent liberties w/ child and aggravated sexual battery on a victim under 13, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim of these acts reportedly told a parent what was happening, and the parent came to police with the accusations. Jennelle was arrested at his Palm Coast residence on June 30th while walking his dog, and is being held at the county jail on no bond.
“This young victim was brave enough to report this to a parent who then contacted law enforcement,” said Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly. “The child’s innocence was taken away by this pervert and I hope he spends the rest of his life in prison where he belongs. We also pray the victims in all his cases receive the help they likely need to recover from this dirtbags actions. Great work by our Major Case Unit.”
