Palm Coast resident and attorney Diane Vidal was honored by Florida Trend in their Legal Elite NOTABLE – Women Leaders in Law publication this month. Vidal was included among 145 attorneys in Florida noted for their leadership, service to their community, and accomplishments in their field.
Vidal was the only attorney based out of Flagler County to be honored in the group. St. Johns County produced only one honoree, and none hailed from Volusia County. The 145 selected attorneys came from a field of nearly 35,000 women practicing law in Florida this year, according to Florida Trend.
Prior to beginning her career in law, Vidal graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, and from Seton Hall University School of Law with a Doctor of Law. Now, Vidal is a partner at Chiumento Law, a 52-year-old firm operating in Flagler and Volusia counties.
In her work, Vidal specializes in estate planning and probate development. She was noted for her fluency in Portuguese and Spanish in her profile with Florida Trend, as well as for her time as the past president of the Flagler County Bar and Professional Women of Flagler County. Vidal has also served as a board/committee member for the Florida Bar Pro Bono Award Committee and the Portuguese American Cultural Center.
