The beloved alternative rock band My Chemical Romance is coming to Daytona Beach. The group will be headlining the 2026 edition of Welcome to Rockville, an annual music festival held at Daytona International Speedway.

MCR,as the group is commonly known, will be performing at Rockville in about eight months, their first Daytona Beach show since reuniting in 2019. The festival will take place over the weekend of May 7th to May 10th, 2026. Other headlining performers will be announced in the coming months.

Since their debut album in 2002, My Chemical Romance has been known as one of the foremost bands in the emo and pop-punk music movements. Across four albums they’ve eclipsed nine million record sales worldwide, making them among the best-selling hard rock bands of the 21st century.

The breakup of My Chemical Romance in 2013 came unexpectedly, sending their most dedicated fans into disarray. But just as the dissolution amplified demand for their tours and music, their reunion triggered skyrocketing sales numbers. Now, Daytona Beach will get to capitalize on the frenzy.

My Chemical Romance hasn’t yet added Welcome to Rockville to their official tour schedule, pending the announcement of which day they’ll play in the festival. When they arrive in Daytona Beach, the band will have just wrapped up the Asian leg of their “Long Live” The Black Parade tour. Along with Rockville, MCR also announced upcoming performances at two other festivals organized by presenter Danny Wimmer: Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.
