Residents of Palm Coast’s F Section be aware: for much of the morning and afternoon on Thursday, Ferguson Court will be closed to traffic due to emergency repairs. The city will be working on the street’s stormwater infrastructure for several hours, prompting residents to arrange alternate plans for their vehicles while it’s going on.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am on Thursday, and continue until 3:30 pm. Impacted houses will include 4 through 22 on Ferguson Court, who will blocked from driving to or from their residences during that 8.5-hour window.
A spokesperson with the City of Palm Coast said in a news release that residents are asked to move their vehicles to the adjacent Fernham Lane during the repairs in order to avoid ‘significant delays’. The statement also says that half of Ferguson Court will remain open during the repairs with personnel on-site to direct traffic as needed.
“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation as we work to enhance the stormwater drainage system in our community,” the city government said in its Tuesday statement. “The City of Palm Coast Fire Department is aware of the closure and is prepared for any emergencies that may arise.”

Not really sure what the city is doing to do this re[pair. But i have seen then do a number of replacements of pipes that go under roadways and they rush the process and now every time you go over the so called repair, it’s like your going ba ha ing over the repair. I wonder if anyone on the road dept. have a clue as to how to do a repair.
