Editor’s Note: This story has been updated with more information in a subsequent article.

Two people were shot at the Beach Village Apartments living facility Sunday, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Though registered to a Palm Coast address, the complex is just on the mainland side of the Flagler Beach bridge, adjacent to the Beach Village Publix location.

The FCSO took to social media to announce a large-scale response to the area on Sunday at 9:22 pm. Few details were provided in the initial report. The FCSO described the incident as a ‘domestic disturbance with weapons’. Shots were confirmed to have been fired after multiple residents reported hearing gunfire in the area. It has not been confirmed as of early Monday afternoon what condition the victims were in, but an FCSO spokesperson on Monday confirmed that there were no fatalities.

Not long after the situation was announced, the FCSO had set up a large staging area near the 7-Eleven gas station just ahead of the apartment complex on Beach Village Drive. Well over a dozen emergency vehicles were on-scene.

Though information is scarce as the FCSO prepares to release an official statement, they did confirm that there are no suspects at-large, and that there is not any danger to the public following the shooting. Any further information released about the incident will be added to this report as it’s made available.

      Got more info for you.

Tyree Smith, 22, and a 17-year-old juvenile injured in a shooting Sunday night at Beach Village Apartments in Palm Coast both claim Stand Your Ground, according to Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. The shooting stemmed from an earlier confrontation between Smith and his girlfriend.

Both the man and the juvenile suffered non-life-threatening wounds in the shooting. Smith was shot in the upper body and arm, the 17-year-old was shot in the leg. Both were taken to the hospital. The 22-year-old was admitted at Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach. The 17-year-old was released. Two firearms were recovered, the sheriff said. It is not yet clear whether both firearms were discharged, or whether the wounds resulted from a single gun.

Got this info from another local media outlet which I hate to go to. I prefer your site, but lately the lack of info on articles are more and more.

Would that be the one with the editor that censors everyone who disagrees with him? Over the years more and more of the commenters seem to be aligned with his viewpoints. I was thrown off years ago.

Yep that’s the jac as who thinks he’s a know it all. But some of the stories are informative. He’s a pom pas ass to say the least. He told me once that I should donate to his outlet and he would consider allowing more of my comments. Right then and there I told him to go (you know where) so that’s why some people get away with stuff and others do not. Not to mention he’s so far left that he thinks what he says it always true. That’s why he won’t hire any right sided writers for his site.
