The Volusia Sheriff’s Office announced late last week that ten massage parlors in the county had been identified as the sites of prostitution setups. The findings were the conclusion of an investigation involving the VSO, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, East and West Volusia Narcotics Task Forces, and Deltona Narcotics Enforcement Team.
According to the report, detectives found that ten out of a series of locations they looked into had been found to be conducting prostitution. None of the individuals involved are thought to be victims of human trafficking according to the VSO, and the investigation is now being done by Homeland Security Investigations, the Department of Health, and the Department of Business and Professional Regulations.
The following massage parlors were identified as being locations for prostitution:
- AA Massage – 2329 S. Ridgewood Ave, Edgewater
- Asian Massage – 431 S. Nova Rd, Ormond Beach
- Azalea Massage – 2031 Saxon Blvd, Deltona
- East Spa – 170 S. Yonge St, Ormond Beach
- Jasmine Spa – 800 W. Indian River Blvd, Edgewater
- Joy Spa – 667 Deltona Blvd, Delton
- Massage Asia – 631 S. Volusia Ave, Orange City
- Massage Eden – 1025 N. Nova Rd, Holly Hill
- My Sunshine Spa – 1702 N. Woodland Blvd, DeLand
- Nice Massage – 200 S. Spring Garden Ave, DeLand
It’s not yet clear how many individuals have been hit with criminal charges from the investigation, or whether the businesses will be shut down.

No surprise. This type of practice with massage parlors has been happening for years or I should say decades.
