City of Palm Coast Ceremony, “Remembering America’s Heroes” this Monday

The City of Palm Coast will be holding its annual, “Remembering America’s Heroes,” on Monday, May 31 from 8 am to 9 am at Heroes Memorial Park.

The event is open to everyone of all ages and will honor the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Nick Klufas will open the ceremony with a welcome followed by guest speakers such as U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz. The Gold Star Family will participate in the laying of the wreath. The JROTC will also perform Posting of Colors.

  • Council Member Klufas’ Remarks

  • 21 gun salute
  • Closing Remarks – Council Member Klufas

Following the City’s ceremony, residents can also attend Flagler County’s ceremony at 10 a.m. in front of the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard in Bunnell.

All of the City’s offices will be closed on May 31 for the Memorial Day holiday. All offices will reopen on June 1, at 8 am. Recycling and garbage collection are still on their regular schedules.
