Woman Charged with Manslaughter in Fentanyl Overdose Death

A year and five days after Calvin Stull was found dead at 22 years old of a fentanyl overdose, a charge has been made in connection with his killing. 48-year-old Palm Coast resident Stephanie Raimundo has been charged with manslaughter for Stull’s death, on top of a litany of other charges she’s been levied over the past year.

Raimundo has been in the county jail since early January of last year when she was charged with fentanyl trafficking, evidence tampering, and driving under the influence. Records indicate that the day after her initial arrest, she was hit with a slew of additional charges: methamphetamine trafficking, marijuana possession under 20 grams, drug paraphernalia possession, cocaine possession with intent to sell, and the possession of oxycodone, hydrocodone, buprenorphine, and alprazolam.

Background

A 911 call was placed on January 3rd, 2024 saying that a man had been found unresponsive beneath the pavilion at Belle Terre Park. The Palm Coast Fire Department responded first and, according to the FCSO, was the agency which pronounced the man dead. FCSO deputies examined photo ID that was present with the body to identify him as Stull.

Just two months prior to Stull’s death, Raimundo was also charged with fentanyl trafficking and unlawful usage of a two-way communications device. Her latest charge to be listed, marked to January 2nd, 2025, places her with responsibility for the fatal fentanyl overdose that took Stull’s life. Following the discovery of Stull’s body, the FCSO says the medical examiner found bags containing heroin and fentanyl on his person. An investigation was conducted by the FCSO’s Major Case Unit, with detectives surmising that Stull had come north on Belle Terre Pkwy to the park the day before his death.

Identifying and Arresting Stephanie Raimundo

The FCSO said their detectives identified Stephanie Raimundo as the person they suspected of dealing Stull the drugs which killed him. They described her as a ‘known drug dealer’ at the time, potentially referring to her November 2023 fentanyl trafficking arrest. The Major Case Unit, assisted by the Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team, executed a search warrant on Raimundo’s Plainview Drive residence in Palm Coast’s P Section on January 5th, 2024. This led to her arrest on that initial swath of criminal charges.

Another resident, 53-year-old Charles Brockhaus, was also arrested on eleven drug-related charges. He has not been charged additionally since his initial arrest, unlike Raimundo. Brockhaus’ history of drug charges in Flagler County extends back further, with a sale of methamphetamine charge on the books from December 2022. Raimundo was served with her arrest warrant in jail on Wednesday, where she’s remained without bond since her arrest last year.

“We are committed to holding poison peddlers accountable who contribute to the ongoing drug problem in our community, especially those who kill someone by selling the fatal dose of poison” said Sheriff Rick Staly on the case. “Thanks to the diligent work of our Major Case Unit, SIU detectives, and Real Time Crime Center analysts, we were able to piece together the events leading to this death and take action against the woman responsible for selling the poison. If you are a drug dealer and kill someone, we will investigate until we can arrest you and put you in jail, no matter how long it takes.”
