PALM COAST – The Flagler Auditorium next week will be hosting The Little Mermen, a tribute band performing songs from years of classic Disney movies. The performance is part of a national tour that the Mermen are embarking on until the end of March. Along with Clermont the following day, the Flagler Auditorium show is their only southeastern date.
According to their website, the band members perform in full costume as the characters they’re calling back to in the films. Based out of New York City, the Little Mermen have played the same events as acts such as Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and Green Day.
Movies whose songs are performed during the show include Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frozen, Moana, and Encanto, along with dozens more. The show is, of course, family friendly.
The Little Mermen’s performance will take on Friday, December 29th at 7:00 pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Standard admission tickets go for $25, with student discount tickets at $10 and youth tickets at $5.
