A two-mile stretch of CR-205 in Flagler County will be closed for repairs next month, the county government announced on Thursday. The closure will begin on Monday, October 5, with no specified estimate of when the work may be completed.

The two-mile area that will receive repairs begins at CR-205’s intersection with SR-100. While the work is completed, signs will be placed on SR-100, US-1, and CR-13 advising motorists of the closure and directing them to the designated detour routes.

“Residents in this area will still be able to reach their homes throughout the project,” said Flagler County Engineer Hamid Tabassian. “The detour for through-drivers will be clearly marked. Drivers should use caution and allow extra travel time. Flagler County appreciates residents’ patience while this important work is completed.”
