The man accused of exposing himself at a Palm Coast Taco Bell has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday. 29-year-old Brandon Irizarry, a resident of Port St. Lucie, has been issued a slew of new criminal charges on top of the ones that have kept him in the Flagler County jail since May.

According to the FCSO, Irizarry was said to be outside the Taco Bell on SR-100 in Palm Coast with his pants pulled down touching his exposed genitals. When he was found by deputies just before 1:00 a.m., Irizarry reportedly covered himself back up. A search of his belongings revealed a betta fish in Irizarry’s backpack, which deputies nicknamed ‘Baja Blast’ after the popular Taco Bell soft drink.

Irizarry was booked into the county jail in the early morning of May 28, 2026. He was charged with misdemeanor exposure of sex organs, first offense. Irizarry pleaded guilty on June 2 and sentenced to probation.

As fate would have it, Irizarry was arrested just one day later for allegedly stealing from the SR-100 Target store across the street from Taco Bell. He was arrested for petty theft, second degree burglary, resisting arrest, and violation of probation. Ever since he’s remained in custody.

As it turns out, Irizarry has been the subject of an investigation in Broward County that dates back to September 2025. His account on X (formerly Twitter) was flagged for allegedly sharing images of child sexual abuse. This was shared to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and later the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Eventually, detectives with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office identified Irizarry as the owner of the account. Last month they discovered that he was in jail in Flagler County. A search warrant was obtained for Irizarry’s cell phone, which had been held at the jail for months.

A search of the phone was later conducted, allegedly revealing several videos and pictures depicting child sexual abuse. Irizarry was re-arrested at the county jail on 10 charges of possession of sexual performance by a child. His new bond is $150,000.

The FCSO says additional charges are expected as the investigation into Irizarry’s phone continues. “We told you about this sick pervert back in May when he was caught masturbating outside of a Taco Bell,” said Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly. “I commend our partners at NCMEC, SFICAC, and BSO for investigating the original tip and for following through on our collective mission to protect children from perverts like him. Every one of those files on his device is a real child who was sexually abused. This pervert needs to go to prison for a very long time!”
