PALM COAST – Vincent L. Sullivan, a Palm Coast-based attorney, has been chosen for the 36 Under 36 Award bestowed by the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. Sullivan is a partner at Chiumento Law, a law firm also based in Palm Coast.

According to a statement on the honor issued by a Chiumento Law spokesperson, the achievement spotlights Sullivan’s “outstanding contributions to the legal profession, exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism and commitment to the community.” He was eligible by merit of being under the age of 36 and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar, and he was chosen for being determined to show dedication to his community and considerable ethical practices.

An Affiliate Outreach Conference was recently held by the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, where Sullivan and the 36 other award-winners were announced. In his capacity at Chiumento Law, Sullivan practices in the legal fields of real estate, litigation, development, transactions, title curative actions, landlord/tenant relations, and consumer defense, the statement says.

Sullivan moved to Palm Coast from central California in 1999, where he would finish his educational career up to being a member of Matanzas High School’s first ever graduating class in 2008. He then attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, where he earned his degree in political science with a minor in pre-law. He then attended the Florida Coastal School of Law, which he graduated from in 2015.

This honor marks the second major one of the month for Sullivan, who also found out in early February that he’d been recognized with the Jay Grife Pro Bono Award, an honor bestowed to those who do significant amounts of legal work free of charge with St. Johns County Legal Aid. “We are honored to have him as part of our team,” said Chiumento Law Managing Partner Michael Chiumento at the time of the previous award. “When you think about the amount of time that Vincent has donated to the Community, it is like he makes a point to spend at least 2 ½ weeks a year to nothing but service to our community through the Pro Bono program. It is attorneys like Vincent and others that participate in the pro bono program, that help provide ‘a wealth of justice for those who have neither’.”
