PALM COAST – Now a well-known local celebrity, the rapper Vanilla Ice will be on-hand for a charity fundraiser at Bronx House Pizza. The event will take place on Sunday, February 25th at the restaurant’s Hammock location.
The event will benefit Little Smiles, a charity based out of south Florida which supports children in various situations of hardship. The organization is a nonprofit which has reported 55,000 children helped over the span of 2023. Vanilla Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle, has a history of working with Little Smiles.
Bronx House Pizza will he helping out the event by donating 100% of the sales from the day to Little Smiles. Brad Beam, managing partner at Bronx House, was clear in the announcement to say it was not solely the profits being donated. Every cent collected in sales that day will go to Little Smiles, Beam said. “
After talking to him a few times we started talking about charities and I asked what his favorite charity was, and he said Little Smiles,” he continued. “We came up with the idea to do a day where we donate 100% of sales to the charity, so for months Rob and I have been planning and facilitating to bring this to life.”
Vanilla Ice is not performing at the event, but he will be in attendance mingling with patrons and promoting Little Smiles. Well known in the area for frequenting Bronx House and other local businesses, Vanilla Ice now even has his own namesake dish on the Bronx House menu.
The event will go on throughout the day on February 25th. Bronx House Pizza’s Hammock location is at 5384 N Ocean Shore Blvd, Palm Coast, FL 32137. Vanilla Ice will be there from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
