It’s important to have zero-proof cocktails on hand for those who choose not to drink. Something better than a glass of club soda will make your guests feel more welcome and, if you’re a bar-owner, add to your sales. As beverage professionals, we should encourage responsible celebration and encourage folks to take a break when needed. As New Year’s Eve and Dry January approach, here are a couple of alcohol-free recipes to get you started. Stay tuned, I will drop a few more of these through the month of January.
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a tall glass. Pack with more ice. The drink should sit below the rim of the glass like low tide. Garnish with the lime wedge.
