Swillerbees Craft Donuts and Coffee is moving its Flagler Beach location across the street to a larger space at 205 N. Central Avenue, the Wehde family announced.
The shop is relocating into the former Ocean Bliss Spa building, which the family says will provide more parking and additional space for community-focused gatherings. The new location is expected to open in early April.
The Wehdes announced the move on Facebook on March 25, framing the new location as a deliberate effort to create a community gathering space.
“We want to build a community hub. Because people need community more than ever,” the post said. “We’re creating a space where you can come, stay, connect, and belong. A place for moms, families, business people, friends, creatives, and anyone who just needs a spot to breathe.”
The new space will include a private room for meetings and a kid-friendly area for children. In a video announcement, co-owner Holly Wehde said the family is asking for community input on what types of events and programming customers would like to see at the new space. Suggestions floated by the shop include coffee dance parties, meet-ups, Bible studies, book clubs, open mic and karaoke nights, bring-your-own-craft events, live music, dance lessons, and talent shows.
“We’d love to hear what you would love to have there,” Wehde said.
Swillerbees is a family-owned shop with three locations. The other two are at 85 Cypress Point Parkway in Palm Coast and 200 E. Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach. All locations are open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
