SCAM: Call from fake representative of FCSO

Residents have reported phone calls from a scam artist claiming to be a sergeant with the FCSO; a fake representative of the FCSO. The scammer is telling victims that there is an active warrant for their arrest and demanding payment over the phone to avoid jail time.

REMINDER: The FCSO will NEVER accept payment over the phone to satisfy a warrant. If you receive this phone call hang up and call us immediately.
