ⓒ AskFlagler

The Flagler Tiger Bay Club has announced the featured guest for its May 2024 luncheon: Flagler County Attorney Al Hadeed. Speaking with firsthand experience on the subject, Hadeed will be unpacking beach conservation in Flagler County. The luncheon’s admission will be open to both members and non-members for a fee.

Hadeed was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1974, after graduating that year from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He’s served the County Attorney for Flagler County since before the turn of the millennium, overseeing such drastic changes as Palm Coast’s birth as a city, the rapid population boom of the area starting in the 00’s, and the massive efforts to restore sand to the county’s miles of coastline.

In addition, Hadeed is also on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of County Attorneys, as well as serving as Chair of the Finance and Tax Committee of the same organization. His legal wheelhouses include environmental law, government law, land use, conservation, and growth management, all topics he’s conducted speaking arrangements about before. Other career honors include the Florida Association of County Attorneys’ Ethics Award and Legislative Advocacy Appreciation Award.

Admission to the May 15th Flagler Tiger Bay Club luncheon meeting will be $40 for guests or $35 for club members. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Hammock Dunes Club at 30 Ave Royale, Palm Coast, FL 32137. A meal will be included, and guests will be able to choose between chicken marsala, garlic butter grilled salmon, and chef’s choice vegetarian. Registration is available online.
