The Flagler Tiger Bay Club has announced its speaker for the next event this coming April: Paul Peterson, the Regional Vice President of First Trust Portfolios, L.P. The luncheon event is taking place in Palm Coast as always, and Peterson will be traveling up from Dade City to be in attendance.

The topic of Peterson’s speaking event will be “the 2024 economic outlook and the impact of the current political landscape on the economy”, according to a release about the event put out by the club. Peterson will draw on over two decades of experience in the financial industry to deliver his remarks.

After serving one year as a high school math teacher, Peterson joined Van Kampen Investments in 1999. He worked there until 2010, rising to the position of Vice President. He also worked at Invesco from 1999 to 2014, eventually reaching Regional Vice President. He joined First Trust in 2014, where he once again took the position of Regional Vice President. Peterson’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Education from Loras College in 1998.
