“The commitment of Captain Guerin to professional growth and servant leadership strengthens our organization and the service we provide our community,” said Flagler County Fire Rescue Chief Michael Tucker. “His ESLI achievement reflects the high standards we set for our leadership team and the investment we make in developing our team.”

Tony Guerin joined Flagler County Fire Rescue in 2000. In his quarter-century with the agency, he’s risen through the ranks to his current position of captain. In September 2024, then-Lieutenant Guerin was dispatched to Dixie County, Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. He went alongside Flagler Emergency Management Director Jonathan Lord, Engagement Manager Karen Callahan, Emergency Management Specialist Lovie Haley, and FCFR Paramedic Savannah Loertscher.
