Flagler Cares Holding Quarterly ‘Help Night’ on January 29th

Flagler Cares, one of the county’s leading public service nonprofit agencies, is holding its quarterly ‘Help Night’ on Wednesday, January 29th according to a press release last week. The group will be connecting residents with various services and other nonprofits in the area which can provide much-needed assistance in a variety of areas.

Help Night, which is held by Flagler Cares once per quarter, will be taking place from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on January 29th. It will be held at the Flagler County Village Community Room (160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite B304, Palm Coast, FL 32164).

There will be over a dozen participating organizations at Help Night, according to a Flagler Cares spokesperson. Both governmental and private groups will have personnel on-hand. Some of the groups who will be present and available for consultation include the following, as detailed by Flagler Cares.

  • CareerSource
  • Department of Children and Families Economic Self Sufficiency (Medicaid & SNAP applications)
  • Early Learning Coalition (early childhood education)
  • Easterseals (autism screenings)
  • Family Life Center (domestic and sexual violence resources)
  • Flagler Cares (behavioral health, CORe, Medicaid & Snap applications, Healthcare Marketplace navigation)
  • Flagler County Human Services (applications and services information)
  • Flagler Open Arms Recovery Services (narcan distribution)
  • Florida Department of Health Flagler (health screenings)
  • Florida Legal Services (15-minute legal consultations)
  • Foundations to Freedom (sober living residence)
  • Healthy Start Coalition (screening for services)
  • HOPE Florida (program information)
  • Lions Club
  • Re Nu Mental Wellness Center
  • Sunshine Psychiatric Care (self-assessment questionnaire)
