Five people were arrested by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in an alleged drug house in Palm Coast’s W Section. Brittany Cowart, Franklin Crawley Jr, Christopher Distefano, Bridgett Dubena, and Josiah Feimseter were taken in on a variety of drug-related charges.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours Tuesday. A search warrant was executed by the FCSO’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and SWAT team at 34 Woodhollow Lane. Upon law enforcement’s arrival, four residents are said to have willingly exited the home. Another two did not, leading deputies to force entry and bring them out, the report says.

Upon conducting a search, deputies reportedly discovered and seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other unspecified controlled substances. Five of the six occupants were charged and arrested.

Cowart was charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set to $1,000. Crawley was charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a controlled substance with no prescription. His bond was set at $5,000. Distefano was charged simply with obstruction without violence and given $500 bond. Dubena was denied bond, having been charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia plus obstruction without violence on top of an additional civil arrest order. Feimster was charged with possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance without a prescription, and he was also denied bond.

“I want to thank the community members who ‘saw something and said something’, putting this smorgasbord drug house on our radar and helping us shut it down,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Poison peddlers and drug users may think they are being discreet, but their drug activity never goes unnoticed, and it is only a matter of time before our SWAT team and SIU arrives to shut down their business.”
