It’s a known fact that one could see just about anything at Buc-ee’s. An entire wall of beef jerky, beaver merchandise in ways no one thought possible, more gas pumps than virtually anywhere else in the world…but one visitor to the store over the weekend proved there are still some surprises in store.
Lenny Kravitz, the rock music legend known for hits such as “Fly Away”, “American Woman”, and “Are You Gonna Go My Way” posted a video to his personal Instagram account documenting a visit to the Buc-ee’s location on LPGA Blvd in Daytona Beach. Kravitz, who documented his encounters with guests, food, and the trademark emporium of Buc-ee’s merch, left a positive message for his fans.

“First time at @bucees,” he said. “So many smiling faces and warm hearts. We are all #Human. See you on the road!” For context, Kravitz set the video to his new song “Human”. Several Buc-ee’s visitors who got to meet Kravitz said he couldn’t have been nicer as he was understandably crowded by fans.
In June Kravitz is preparing to embark on a tour of Europe, starting in Germany before wrapping up in Italy in August. He has no immediately apparent commitments in Florida, so it’s not totally clear what he was doing in Daytona Beach. But for the thrilled fans who got a surprise encounter with a music legend, that didn’t much matter.
Kravitz’s storied career includes four straight times winning the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance (1999-2002). He has two top-five hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and has sold an estimated 40 million records worldwide since his debut in 1989. Most recently, he was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, alongside fellow icons like Mariah Carey, Ozzy Osbourne, and Peter Frampton.
