During the investigation by FCSO’s Cyber Crimes Unit, 15 electronic files of videos and photos were located that portrayed children in sexually exploitative situations. The victims are believed to range from an infant to 10 years old. During the investigation and arrest Caschera told detectives that he had downloaded the child pornography.

Christopher Caschera Jr. was arrested Wednesday on a warrant resulting from the investigation conducted by detectives of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes/Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. Caschera was taken into custody without incident by the FCSO Problem Area Crime Enforcement (PACE) Unit and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. He has since been released after posting $150,000 bail.

“Our Cyber Crimes detectives did an outstanding job investigating and arresting this pervert,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “If you are a pervert getting your jollies by watching child pornography, we are coming for you next. People that make this pornography rob children of their innocence and are fueled by the perverts that buy and watch it. Both deserve to spend a very long time in prison and should rot in jail. This pervert quickly bonded out so now it’s up to the courts and prosecutors to send him away.”
