Bunnell resident Cody Driggers was sentenced to 180 days in jail for violating a court order to stay away from a Mondex house that used to be he and his family’s residence. It’s Driggers’ second time being jailed for violating this order, with the previous instance in January 2023 resulting in a 90-day sentence.

Driggers and four others were banned from returning to their former residence last year after they were found to have been conducting an illegal narcotics operation out of it. Driggers in particular has a history of being charged with possession of heroin, fentanyl, and marijuana among other offenses.

The property is owned by John Driggers, Cody’s father. John, who is currently in prison, was banned from being on-property unless he was there to sell it with a realtor on-hand. Along with the Driggers’, a ban was also given to Haley Scott, Cheyenne Donaldson, and James Donaldson.

“After years of selling poison at their home and being a neighborhood nuisance, this family found themselves permanently evicted, but some of them can’t seem to get the message,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “This family and their friends were a nuisance to the hard-working people of the Daytona North community.”

Other charges previously brought against Driggers include burglary, animal cruelty, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and credit card fraud. He is scheduled to be released from the county jail on October 2nd of this year.

Apparently this idiot doesn’t think the laws apply to him. 90 days the first time and now he violated a court order again. I say lock him up for 1 yr. If he didn’t learn his lesson after 90 day, does anyone really think he will after 180 days. I think not.
