Weekly Gas Report: The Cheapest Gas Prices in Flagler & Volusia 6/25/24

Gas prices are back up in Florida compared to the weeks prior. According to a new report from AAA spokesperson Mark Jenkins, the statewide average cost of a gallon of gas rose 15 cents in a week, before easing down two cents. Florida’s average cost of gas is at $3.39 as of Tuesday, just below the national average.

Flagler County is a bit higher than state average at $3.42, while Volusia County clocks in at $3.40. The cost of oil in the United States rose to trigger this price increase, a market factor largely detached from domestic economic policy.

“Oil and gasoline futures prices rose the past two consecutive weeks, which raised the cost of producing gasoline,” Jenkins said. “Futures prices reportedly increased on data that fuel demand is outpacing fuel inventories. Price fluctuations like this is very common during the summer travel season.”

Below are the cheapest gas in each city in Volusia and Flagler counties, according to GasBuddy as of Tuesday afternoon. Data is user-reported and thus prices may change after being listed here, and some may be cash-only offers. Member-only stations such as Costco and Sam’s Club are excluded from this list.
